The girls need to be saved, first, the guys already have mother ,and father down there backs, and if these girls would stop making it so easy for them to run to them when they don’t want to listen to there parents. The girls r terrible. They don’t show ,give,or act like they even won’t respect.i raised four boys ,and one girl and my teaching to them all was don’t hit if you don’t wont to get hit back,, and one more thing there has always been one exception to a rule and she was that one.

I don’t think that it really starts with the children…it should start with these parents. The children are only doing what they are taught. I am 35 and I have found that too many of my generation tries to be their children’s friend. Yes, each generation wants to be different from how they were raised but seriously its out of control now. It takes an entire family to raise a child. But now a days the parents know it all and don’t want to hear anything anyone has to say about how to raise their child. We are products of our parents and if we are raised in the right way we will grow up in the right way and raise our own children in the right way…I KNOW I DO!. My children are both straight A students, very well mannered and respectful. They are not perfect kids and once in awhile they get out of line and when they do please believe I am right there to get them right back in line. It’s called tuff love!

I think we need to focus on the girls and the boys will follow along. I honestly was not going to comment on this topic today because I think both should be saved but then when I heard Tameka speak I realize how much our women actually need saving. Honestly a woman as mature as she sounded would not be affected by whats going on in the world if she was raised right. Educated or not a true woman would know where the limitations are. A man can take in stride and eventually will be accepted but because of her personal beliefs she would not be accepted. Playing or real the flaws are revealed in her comment. So because of this woman I feel we should focus on the personality of the black woman first. If the woman was raised right it would not have gone that far. And I believe Tameka who spoke would respond the same way the young lady did with the the Bus Driver. My personal opinion.

Young men and women have to be saved. Whether it be from neglect, incarceration, death, indifference, or lack of knowledge more women are raising both little boys and girls than men. If you can reach the primary caregiver then you have saved not only that woman but also her children, their children, and so forth.

Good thought but the men are lacking. Young women should not be having babies because they are never ready. The must be taught how to dictate safe sex, condoms, cream, abstain AND if the demands are not met NO SEX. We need to bring the TABOO about pregnancy back and the consequences of irresponsible sex! The PACT, JUNO caregivers disgusting along with those stupid reality shows! Young men and women need to stay in school and graduating is their only responsiblity at that time! Not working fulltime during the school year and having babies! Graduate from HS and deeply consider college and our children WILL be saved but both male and female teenagers and young adults need to be taught and made to believe that there are no alternatives. For me, not graduating from HS was taught to me as a death sentence.

    Doug—

I would save the girls first for the following reasons:

    1. I think the girls would be more receptive to change than the boys because the boys are in worse shape.
    2. The young women are more mature than the men and it would be easier to help them.
    3. Women reproduce. If we did lose 99 percent of the men we could still build a new generation with out the problems of the previous generation but if the numbers were reversed the odds would not be in our favor.
    4. I am so use to seeing stupid ignorant men that I have become immune to it but this level of unintelligent women is something new. It hurts me more to see uneducated, unenlightened, illiterate, rude, women! What’s even sadder is they pass these traits on to their off-spring by demonstrating rude, impolite, bad behavior in front of them.

    Solution:

    1. Bring God back in the schools. You must learn the 10 commandments. (Respect for God)
    2. Recite the pledge of allegiance daily in school. (Respect for Country)
    3. Enforce proper dress, hygiene, and basic education. (Respect for Self)

By Far I believe young women need to be saved first. Growing up they need to be taught not to settle for good rat boys and hopefully their fathers take an active roll and show them how they should be treated when it comes time to date and select a husband. Also once their older and have children I believe Mothers have the most influential roll in a child’s up bringing beit boys or girls.

Yes, women/mothers do what they have to do for most of the time we decide when to bring the kids into this world. The men/fathers act like they have a choice in the matter. I believe the girls are faded and the boys pretty much influence the girls. For a mother it is easier and more familiar to raise girls to women than trying to raising boys to men. Do not discount the fathers or the boys. We fathers and mothers as (THE CONCEIVERS) are obligated to SAVE both girls and BOYS. Mothers tend to neglect the boys when their siblings are girls and men tend to be tougher on boys and forget about love, motivation and consideration towards their sons. Boys are neglected more than girls. SAVE OUR BOYS MORE!

Amen…we must be related sir! Keep up the effort and try and recruit more Black Male teachers from the colleges. Inspire them to pursue a degree in Education and become Board Certified Teachers! CPS needs them! Grades 3-12 and K-2 grade would be a milestone!.

Seriously, save the girls first….I think we have been doing that for the last 20 years and what has that got us…If you focus on the boys then the girls would benefit…..the boys have more influence on a girl than a girl on a boy… so the resources should be mainly concentrated toward the development of the boys…with a focus on disciplined , doing so would ultimately benefit the girls…

Discipline yes but ALSO, representation and consideration. There are too many unrelated male disciplinarians already in many fields or system to do the job but not enough “show me” models or teachers, like black male teachers that are there just because they want to inspire thru education on a daily basis. Just teach that is all they have to do and eventually I believe the interest will develop and the girls will as always follow the boys. The girls follow in behind the boys viewing their activities. The boys follow the girls hoping to get the chance to “hit that” not for their activities. WE ARE IN A CRISS WITH OUR BOYS! YES THE GIRLS WILL FOLLOW.
