You don’t. Your enjoy your life as is until that special someone comes along to make you want to throw on the towel. Panic will lead to some really, really bad decisions that you will end up regretting. Just enjoy the life that you are living.
It is the same with men, we just don’t admit it and have one nighters with or a “mid-life crisis”. This discussion is primarily about children. Rudy and Doug aren’t really alone because they have their kids, so they will never be “alone”.
Ask the question again, if you had absolutely NO ONE in your life. Ask Rudy and Doug to think about their lives with no kids, wives, girlfriend or even Baby Momma. I think they would feel differently,
As a man, I am concerned about it. I’m 38, single, have no kids, are not in a relationship. This has become something I have thought about because I have had to move relatives in with me to take care of them. Who is going to take care of me as I get older? Who is going to be there for me? Right now, i don’t have anyone.
And yes, finding someone to jump into bed with you is not difficult. but what about taking care of you? what about being there with you and for you through life’s challenges?
like Chris Rock said, there is New ***** and Old ***** and new ***** can’t cook. lol…
It’s not a panic but more a loss of hope… The older we get the more set in our ways. The more we are unwilling to meet someone half way. No one is perfect. While some ove to fast others are to afraid to leap . At my age (45), I’m afraid there isn’t someone so tainted by hurt or failure they cant’ see the blessing of loving a spouse. Even a boyfriend or girlfriend. At my age it seems casual sex is all they are willing to have. No investment needed. To most they look for what they can get from a relationship. Not what they can give.
