I am currently living on the wrong side of this topic right now. My man hates my forty-something girlfriend cause she is a little on the free side with her body and she likes to try to hook me up with his single friend. I tell him everytime I go out with her that I may only be 28 but I make my own decisions and she cant push me into doing anything I didnt want to do in the first place!!!

I have been married for 35 years. My husband has had friends from his past and encounters throught out marriage and they have all had different personalities. I have never had a problem with him hanging around them because I trusted his judgement. He knew what I expected of him and that I held and hold him accountable for his actions, not his friends. And the reverse is true. He know ensure that no matter who or where I am that I always ensure that he is always respected in all that I do.

No because your mate is going to do what they want or don’t want to do! They are grown, too grown for you to use the excuse hanging with such & such made them do whatever. If they were hanging with that same crowd when you got with them and it wasnt a problem then it should be a problem now. If so maybe its not the crowd its your mate!
